Hey Folks!

We were hoping to have the first round of revisions completed this week but it's going to take another 2-3 weeks to get it all done - and done right. However, I am excited to share that we've completed the city map of Blumont - check it out! I have also ordered the first few items for the project including art prints of the Titan for our early bird backers, and poster maps of Blumont. I've also ordered raw materials for our 3d printers to begin printing the Passenger Stone terrain pieces for our Hero backers. 

In the next update, I should have exciting news about the editing status of the book and will have pictures of the first rewards as the show up at the office!

Hey Folks!

I've got a brief update for y'all today but just wanted to let you know about another Kickstarter I'm involved in that launches tomorrow morning. Eight years ago, Joe Carro (HHP Community Manager), Frank Ard (HHP Copy Editor), and I (Lead Creator and Owner of HHP) had to idea to created a shared post-apocalyptic world set in Vermont a couple of decades after a catastrophic solar flare. We each wrote a story in this world - along with 8 other super talented writers - and the book is launching on Kickstarter tomorrow morning! Revisions

I am meeting with lead writer Alex on Thursday but I checked in briefly with him over the weekend and it sounds like we should be on track for this stage of revisions to wrap up within the next week or two. After that, we will do 2-3 more rounds of edits but these will be much faster, focusing primarily on grammar, punctuation, syntax, consistency, etc. I am also working on the city map of Blumont and hope to have that ready to show you in the next update. I hope you're all having a great start to autumn - we're enjoying the beautiful foliage up here in Vermont!

Hey Folks!

This is just a quick update to let you know two things:

Editing

Alex is still hard at work on the first (and most substantive) round of revisions. When we make it through this round, I will update you all on the progress. I am hoping to complete it by the end of September.

BackerKit Cards to be Charged

The second part is that BackerKit orders have been locked and cards will be processed shortly. Getting these extra funds are necessary for us to order many of the add-ons for the project.

Revision Status Update

Hey Folks,

Check out this amazing artwork that we just added to the book from Thuan Pham!

July was a busy month! I went through Adventurer's Agency, sent the first round of feedback to Alex, and he is now hip-deep in edits. The book will undergo three rounds of revisions with this one being the most substantive. Alex is fleshing out the lore, polishing the rough edges, and we are still playtesting some of the new subclasses. Alex has a soft deadline of wrapping up this round of revisions by early September but as there is still a lot of work to do, it may go on a little longer. The good news is the following two rounds of edits will go much faster - probably 4-6 weeks to complete both of those.

The pledge manager is also taking shape! 91% of you have completed that. Thank you so much for taking the time to complete those surveys. Completing them helps us to finalize the counts for many of the items we will be ordering soon. As a reminder, we will be processing credit cards for the pledge manager in early September.  There will be another update posted before them to remind you. 

That's all for now! I will post another update on September 12th with the latest news on the project. My apologies ahead of time for the delay between edits - my kids are home from daycare from August 22nd - September 12th so I will be in full dad-mode during that span. Pledge Manager Live!

Hey Folks!

Before we get into the thick of it, here is a brand new art commission representing the Monk: Way of the Streets Subclass. Art by Alec Adams.

We managed to get the Pledge Manager up early and sent it out Friday.

First, I want to apologize for the issues around the prices of Add-Ons. Our intention was to offer the lowest possible price for some of our add-ons to you all through Kickstarter and to then offer those add-ons for more (but still at a reduced price) to people who pre-order customers through the Pledge Manager. Unfortunately, this translated to BackerKit making backers pay the difference in price. This issue SHOULD be resolved now but PLEASE let me know if you are still being asked to pay for an add-on you already paid for in Kickstarter. Thank you very much for your patience and understanding as we resolved this issue over the weekend. 

BackerKit Status

A whopping 70% of you have already responded! Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to complete the pledge manager. This lets us plan shipping logistics as well as to get a final count on the items we will need to order. As a reminder, cards will not be processed until early September. Once cards are processed, digital rewards that are ready will begin distributing.

Book Status

I am also excited to share that the core book (not including all of the stretch goals) has gone through the first round of revisions and is back with lead author, Alex. There will be three total revisions with this first one taking the longest. My best estimate is the second round of revisions will take place in August. 

Next Update

The next update will go out in three weeks on August 1st, with the latest details on the book, the pledge manager, and the final piece of commissioned art! Stay tuned and have a great couple of weeks!
